Interior to Lower Mainland Transmission Project Fly Over

The Interior to Lower Mainland Transmission Project will enable more electricity to be delivered from areas where it is generated – in the Columbia and the Peace regions – to the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island, ensuring that homes and businesses continue to receive clean and reliable energy. The new 247 kilometre, 500 kilovolt transmission line mostly parallels an existing line, and runs from the Nicola Substation near Merritt B.C. to the Meridian Substation in Coquitlam B.C.
