    STANDING TOGETHER

This year our Conference is centered around the unveiling of the National Canadian Building Trades Monument on Wednesday May 17, 2017. The Monument, and the Conference, will honour the achievements and sacrifices of Building Trades workers in Canada.

The Conference Program is dedicated to the theme of the Monument – “Standing Together”. It will focus on what work we can do together to honour the work of the Building Trades in the past so that we are prepared for the future.

We encourage all Local Unions of Building Trades Affiliates to attend and participate in this year’s Conference and in the unveiling of our monument. We especially encourage any Local Union who has lost a member due to workplace accident or the ravages of industrial disease to give special consideration to offer to the family of these members an opportunity to attend the monument unveiling which commemorates their loved one’s ultimate sacrifice while building one of our many projects.

Conference Early Bird Registration – $375. Deadline: March 30, 2017.

Registrations will be accepted until the start of the Conference for a fee of $400.

Lobby meetings with Members of Parliament will not be organized unless specifically requested by you. If you wish to have our Office schedule a meeting with your Member of Parliament please complete the lobby portion of this package or contact CBTU offices at 613-236-0653.
