You are encouraged to explore this representation of Canada’s electricity generation and transmission infrastructure. Well over three quarters of Canada’s electricity system is non-emitting of greenhouse gasses (GHG). Our hydro and nuclear, along with renewable energy such as wind and solar, emit few if any GHGs.

There are three overlay options available below as well as a legend to help interpret the many dots, lines and colors. Something out of place? Let us know! Send your comments to info@electricity.ca.
